Our lakeside setting shapes how we build and run Firecracker. We use the Japanese technique of Yakisugi to finish our sauna timber for durability and reduced maintenance.

Solar power supports essential functions. Our firewood comes from windfall and ash dieback trees, and we collect and reuse rainwater where possible.

The aim is to keep the experience close to its surroundings, with care for the place that makes it possible.
